Questions or something not working? Email support@stickermint.com with your store's .myshopify.com address and, if it's about a shipment, the order number. We reply within one business day.
Getting started
- Install Mint Tracking from the Shopify App Store. The app home (Deliveries) shows a setup checklist.
- Switch on the app embed: click Open theme editor, make sure Order tracking is on under App embeds, and click Save. (Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds.) It gives the tracking page your theme's button colour and corner style.
- Link to the tracking page: it's at
/apps/trackon your store. In Online Store → Navigation, add a menu item called “Track order” that links to/apps/track. - Optional: add the Order tracking block to any page with Add tracking block, and add Track your order to the order status page in Settings → Checkout → Customize (choose the Order status page, then Add app block).
- Review Settings: texts (in any language), date format, and after how many days without an update a shipment counts as delayed.
Where tracking information comes from
Mint Tracking shows what Shopify has for each shipment: tracking numbers and carrier links, the delivery status, the estimated delivery date and tracking updates. It doesn't connect to carriers itself. Updates appear when Shopify receives them, for example for labels bought in Shopify, carriers Shopify tracks, or fulfillment apps that send tracking events. When there are no updates, the page shows the tracking number and the carrier's link so customers can check there.
Common questions
A customer says the page can't find their order. They need the order number exactly as in their confirmation email (with or without #) and the email address used at checkout. Orders older than 60 days can't be looked up. Signed-in customers can pick the order from their recent orders instead. After 8 wrong tries for one order number, lookups for it pause for an hour.
A shipment shows “Shipped, not scanned yet” for days. Shopify hasn't received a tracking update for it. That's normal for carriers or services that don't send updates to Shopify; the customer can still use the carrier link. On the dashboard, such shipments count as delayed after the number of days you set (5 by default). Click Mark reviewed to hide one until its next update.
What does “Delayed” mean on the dashboard? The carrier reported a delay, the estimated delivery date passed more than a day ago, or there has been no tracking update for the number of days you set. Shipments without a tracking number are never counted as delayed.
The dashboard says live updates aren't switched on. Shopify only sends shipment updates to apps once their access to order data is approved. Until then the dashboard refreshes every hour, and the app retries automatically.
I changed the app proxy URL. The menu link, block and order status button use /apps/track. If you changed that path under Apps → Mint Tracking → App proxy, use your new path in the menu and in the block and button settings.
Billing
Free includes the tracking page with 100 order lookups a month, the delivery dashboard, editable texts, the form block and the order status button. Pro is billed through Shopify at $5.99/month after a 7-day free trial and adds unlimited lookups, “You may also like” recommendations, the weekly delay alert email and your brand colour, corners and announcement. Cancel anytime from the app's Plans page or by uninstalling.
Privacy
See our privacy policy and security policy. In short: orders are read from Shopify when a customer looks them up and aren't stored; the dashboard keeps shipment status only, never names, emails, addresses or tracking numbers.
